Admissions & Inclusion / Equal Opportunities (SEND) Policy

Al Nahda Nursery Group welcomes children from all cultural, linguistic, and developmental backgrounds. Our admissions procedures are objective, transparent, and aligned with UAE Child Rights legislation and Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) regulations:

• Open Enrollment: Applications are processed on a fair first-come, first-served basis, subject to age group capacity across our 3 batches (Morning, Midday, Evening).
• Parent Orientation (Annex A2): Before a child's start date, parents participate in an orientation session covering batch routines, arrival/collection passwords, illness guidelines, and fees.
• Gradual Settling-in (Annex L8): A personalized settling-in timetable is designed for every child during their first 1–2 weeks, ensuring an emotionally secure transition from home to nursery.

ANNS firmly believes that every child has the fundamental right to high-quality early childhood education alongside their peers. In accordance with the UAE National Policy for Empowering People of Determination:

• Individual Support Plans (IEP / Support Plan): Created collaboratively by the Inclusion Lead, class teacher, and parents to establish SMART developmental milestones.
• Sensory & Environmental Adaptations: Provision of tactile resources, sensory breaks, visual schedules, communication cards, and wheelchair-accessible spaces.
• Differentiated Pedagogy: EYFS early learning goals are differentiated so children of determination engage meaningfully in both adult-led lessons and self-chosen play.

Successful early intervention relies on close collaboration between the nursery team, family, and certified external professionals:

External therapists authorized by parents are permitted to observe children on-site, conduct progress assessments, and align classroom strategies with clinical treatment programs.
